The awareness campaigns carried out by the Public Aid Organization (PAO) continue within the activities of the project (mitigating risks and enhancing access to specialized services for gender-based violence for vulnerable women and girls in Basra Governorate), funded by UNICEF , cooperation has been made with the administration of the (Dhu al-Qari) school in Al-Zubair district. And in the presence of the educational staff of the school, to provide an entertaining awareness session for the staff.
The aim of these sessions is to increase the social and cultural awareness of the participants by introducing and explain the types of violence and the difference between each type, as well as to provide them with legal awareness in order to prevent sexual and gender-based violence And How to address it.
