Public Aid Organization-PAO/Baghdad office participated in the workshop on ” Protection of Human rights” at the Operations of Counter Terrorism Service” on October 10th.2022. The workshop organized by ” Implementation of the National Human Rights Plan”. Public Aid Organization is a member of the Ministerial Committee for the Implementation of the National Strategy. The workshop organizer praised the role played of NGOs in supporting implementation of counter-terrorism strategy 2016-2021 through holding workshops, conducting conferences to combat terrorist ideology, supporting respect for human rights during counter-terrorist operations and to build capacity of security services on human rights principles. The workshop conducted with presence of the national plan members of different ministries, members of Counter Terrorism Service, Local and International NGOs that actively work with the Ministry of Justice.
