On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Public Aid Organization held a conference within the activities of the project PERMA, which it implements in cooperation with several international organizations and with the support of the FDA, at Babylon Hotel – Enlil Hall, with the participation of government representatives, academic and media agencies and representatives of agricultural associations.
The participants from the representatives of the agricultural associations expressed their demands from the government, which is to expedite the process of paying the financial dues of the farmers, provide seeds, fertilizers, and fodder, and encourage the return of the farmers to their provinces because their presence is linked to the food security of Iraq and a set of other demands that would facilitate the living conditions of the farmers in the Nineveh Plain and around the district.
