Within the activities of the democracy promotion program and with the support of the NPA, the Public Aid Organization (PAO) implemented a training workshop for Women volunteers.
The workshop included an introduction to familiarize volunteers with the program, its priorities and it goals, which focus on increasing the democratic participation of citizens, especially vulnerable groups of youth and women.
It also dealt with explaining the idea of the work of the community center, which is part of the local government in the province of Baghdad, and the role of volunteer teams in supporting the program.
The workshop witnessed active participation of those Women volunteers in an open discussion that included expressing their views on assessing the status in general and their potential in communicating with their peer among Women.
